BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Black History Month is celebrated in October in the UK. Here we celebrate the achievements of Africans and Afro-Caribbeans and their many contributions to British society. In a year marked by the Black Lives Matter protests, conversations about racism and the legacy of colonialism, Ishami asked survivors to share with us their experiences of being black Rwandans in the West.
